Update on subscription fees
The best value now is our monthly offer at £5 which runs until early September.
Our thanks to everyone who has opted for a paid subscription since we launched our offering on 1st May. It is hugely appreciated. We are also very grateful to everyone who has signed up to follow us - it’s been a good start and we hope you’ve seen enough to consider a subscription going forward. On that note, from today onwards, the best deal for any new subscribers is to sign up for the monthly deal rather than season long as we will conclude our coverage at the end of the domestic cricket season in Scotland in early September. Substack doesn’t let us close off the annual offer (and sets it at a minimum £20) so please do select the monthly option to ensure you get best value.
Some of you may know us from our website and social media platforms for The Offside Line, covering Scottish Rugby extensively from schools rugby right through to the national team. We have long believed there is enough interest and participation in cricket for us to do the same thing with The Inside Edge and with your help, we are testing our theory this year! We want to make sure we can develop a long-term strategy to cover the game you’re interested in and to do so, like all media these days, we need to do that with a subscription-led base. We will do our best to attract some (non-intrusive) advertisers to help us cover the costs of delivering our coverage and keep the subscription costs down (more to follow on those showing their support for this season).
