RAIN was the big winner in Scottish cricket on Saturday … but Scotland, Heriot’s and Watsonians/Dumfries all had cause for celebration come Sunday evening.

Scotland defeated Netherlands by 39-runs to get their T20 series campaign at Clydesdale’s Titwood ground off to the perfect start, Heriot’s progressed to the Scottish Cup quarter-finals, and Watsonians/Dumfries have now won six out of six in the Women’s Premier League after getting past previously unbeaten Stewart’s Melville.
